Genetta Patrick

Mrs. Gennetta Lois Patrick was born on October 13, 1958, to the late Jake and Eula Mae Bobbitt in Forest, Mississippi.

At an early age, Gennetta accepted Christ and joined Midway M.B. Church in Forest, MS. On November 7, 2025, Gennetta peacefully departed this life at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Patrick; granddaughter, Avieanna Wells; and four siblings, Jimmy Bobbitt, Charlie Bobbitt, Eula Ann Bobbitt Patrick, and Shirley McClendon.

Gennetta leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted husband, Kenneth Patrick Sr.; daughter, Celia Patrick (Earl Shepard) of Forest, MS; three sons, Nicholas (Allene) Patrick of Detroit, MI, Kenneth (Connie) Patrick Jr., and Kenyon (Ashley) Bobbitt Sr., both of Forest, MS.

She also leaves to cherish her memory twelve beloved grandchildren: Zoraya Ficklin, Nyla Patrick, Nicholas Patrick Jr., Nykeirha Patrick, Trevon Patrick, Kentavious Gray, Khloe Bobbitt, Talaya Bobbitt, Kenyon Bobbitt Jr., Kobe Bobbitt, Darion (Summer) Bobbitt, and Kenyatta Patrick; two great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Crocker and Ashlee Bobbitt; one sister, Mattie Holifield of Forest, MS; one brother, Jacob Bobbitt of Miami, FL; mother-in-law, Margaret Mary Patrick.

She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Shirley Hutchins, Lynda Johnson, Ruby Warnsley, Patricia Patrick, Yvette Wash, and Lotashia Patrick; one brother-in-law, Billy (Ramonda) Patrick; Samantha Rankin; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, family and friends.
