With deep sorrow and loving remembrance, Jamica Monya Graffenread, affectionately known as “Meek,” entered eternal rest on July 24, 2026, at the age of 35. A proud former student of Forest High School, Class of 2009, Jamica’s life was a radiant testament OF love, joy, and resilience.
Jamica was a devoted daughter, granddaughter, cousin, family member, and friend whose warm smile and generous spirit touched every life she encountered. Her laughter was infectious, her kindness unwavering, and her presence a source of comfort and light. She embraced life wholeheartedly cherishing moments with family and friends, creating memories that will forever live in the hearts of those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Pauline “Mrs. Kat” White of Forest, and her grandfather, Jimmie Graffenread Sr. of Lone Pilgrim, who now welcome her into peaceful rest.
Jamica leaves behind a legacy of love carried forward by her devoted parents, Jimmie Graffenread Jr. and Peggy Graffenread; her children, Jaydn Hawkins, Jade Graffenread, and Isdore Odom Jr.; her brothers, Ka‑Jana Graffenread, Jamarius White, and Ja’Kouri Graffenread; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and countless friends whose lives were forever brightened by her grace and spirit.
Her memory will remain a blessing, and her light will continue to shine in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3
