Johnnie "Polecat" Ray Triplett

Johnnie Ray Triplett, affectionately known as Polecat, Cat, Ray, and Newly, age 56, was born on November 7, 1969, to Herbert Jr. Patrick and Beulah Mae Patrick. On July 14, 2026, Polecat was called home by Almighty God.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Herbert Jr. Patrick; his stepfather, Mr. Joe Louis Patrick; the beloved love of his life, Ms. Glenda Ann Patrick; one brother‑in‑law, Mr. Douglas Calvin Patrick; one nephew, Lannie Michael‑Keon Triplett; and a host of other cherished family members.

Polecat leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mrs. Beulah (Jerry) Hughes; his children, Brian (Deidre) Patrick, Tracy (Rick) Mitchell, Michael Patrick, Burdie Patrick, Alician Bobbitt, Shenetra Triplett and Antonia Terrell Wingo; his sisters, Patricia Ann Johnson, Georgia Triplett-Patrick, and Rachel Patrick; his brothers, Junior Lee Patrick, Melvin (Rachel) Triplett, and Calvin (Ebony) Patrick; his uncles, Jack Johnson Sr. and Charles C. Patrick; aunts, Willie Mae Hoyle, Mary Lou Patrick, Willie Ree Gilbert, and Mary Anderson; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Cat will be lovingly remembered for his warmth, generosity, caring spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome simply by his presence. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
