A Time to be Born:

Yvonne Spivey Holifield was born to the late Feb and Dovie Richmond Spivey on January 9, 1937, in Walnut Grove, MS. To this union 15 children were born.

A Time to Live:

She attended Leake County Agricultural School, in Walnut Grove, MS. Yvonne married Mose Henry Holifield Jr. At an early age she was baptized at True Light Baptist Church in Walnut Grove MS. She later joined Lone Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, until her health failed her.

A Time to Die:

Yvonne made her transition on June 2, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto, in Southaven, MS. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Mose Holifield, Jr. Her parents, Feb and Dovie Spivey, five brothers, and seven sisters. Also, her loving In-laws Mose and Lanie Holifield.

A Time to Mourn:

Yvonne Holifield memories are survived, cherished and loved by, Larry Holifield (Shirley), of Forest, MS, Cynthia Holifield-Betts (Myron) of Hernando, MS, Rickey Holifield of Hillsboro, MS, Charles Holifield of Southaven, MS, Lisa Walker (James) of Hillsboro, MS, Terrell Holifield of Hillsboro, MS. She has two sisters, Evonne Ward her twin (AQ Ward) of Chicago and Jimmie Faye McFarland of Jackson, MS. She will be greatly missed by her 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
